Representative Work

Net Leased Retail Property – Purchase of single tenant net leased California retail property by Asian investors; assistance with purchase due diligence and entitlements; negotiation of amendment to national retailer’s lease; formation of U.S. limited liability company to own property.

Medical Campus – Acquisition of vacant land for proposed medical campus; negotiation of development agreement and other documents relating to PUD; reciprocal/cross easements with adjacent subdivision; joint venture agreement with health care provider.

Shopping Center Development – Acquisition of 100+ acre parcel outside Chicago, IL by developer; entitlement matters; joint venture agreement with shopping center REIT for development and operation of regional shopping center.

Retail and Office Project Redevelopment – Purchase and redevelopment of 100+ acre former racetrack into 1.0 million square foot office and retail project; resolution of environmental and zoning issues and negotiation of complex reciprocal easement agreement with adjacent industrial/warehouse development; sale and ground lease of pads to big box retailers, and negotiation of lease agreements with mini-anchor and in line retailers; financing included land acquisition and development loan, construction loan and permanent financing.

Retail Redevelopment – Purchase of shuttered WalMart building and redevelopment into multitenant property leased to national retailers.
